New Beginnings, Day One
Well I made it, and in record time! 1253 miles in 17 hours and 58 minutes (including the three times I filled up with gas and the two times I stopped for food). Now I’m here and the reality of such a life-altering change has yet to hit me. I was too tired after yesterday to think much about anything while I slept, but today while I lied in bed I thought about the fact that I’m halfway across the country from the people I’ve known and loved for the last few years. But I’m keeping myself occupied with other things, such as the beautiful weather up here (65 degrees vs. 105 degrees) and the fact that I still need to find a place to live!
PS: if anyone remembers what the hell happened at the party Saturday night please let me know, cause there are several of us that can’t remember much of anything..

i’m so glad you’re here, hunny…and i know that despite being away from all of the great people in florida, you’ll have a great time while you’re up here…so much to look forward to! =D
