Everything in its right place
Well, almost everything. Finally! After waiting for two weeks for Time Warner to send one of their tech puppets out to perform the incredibly difficult job of turning the cable on in my new apartment (which involves all of moving cable A from slot B to slot C — all within the same box!), I have my lifeline back :) it’s not that I’m addicted to the internet, but it’s really convenient to be able to instantly check the weather, my bank account balance and the global headlines all from my laptop. Andy seems happy enough now that he can resume his nightlong forays in the world of Asheron’s Call 2.
My parents came up from Florida last week and brought me all of my furniture, so now the apartment is habitable. I also have a bed, and so does Andy (he absolutely LOVES sleeping on the futon). Now all that’s missing is a dining table and a few other trinkets for the kitchen. Oh, and a fully-stocked liquor cabinet would be nice O_o
