Antonio!

Today really is a beautiful day! It’s actually a little hot outside now, but this morning was awesome. Woke up, checked the daily bunch of websites, and had brunch with Sara by the lake. It was great! We just sat there and soaked in the sun and wonderful lake breeze. Then we went back to her place and I met Davey!!! (He’s the lead singer of The Promise Ring, and Sara’s cousin!). And then to make it an even better day, I got a phone call from the very company that I was going to call to follow up with! So now I’ve got a telephone interview Friday morning. Here’s hoping it goes well — I’m so fed up with my current job… the people there just don’t make it a nice place to work. They’re very fake when it comes to being interested in me or my skills. I’d also like to be doing something where I don’t feel like a slave, in addition to something that provides me a halfway enjoyable experience for eight hours.

In car related news, the Galant is running fine, but I still yearn for something new. So i think i’ve settled on a 2004 Scion xA, but I’m going to have to wait until either February or June to get one (unless I make the drive all the way out to Cali to get one, or have them ship it here from one of the dealers out there). I’ve pretty much set my heart on it, since it’s based on the Echo engine/body, and it’s already got plenty of after-market support should i decided to start modding it (imagine one with a turbo it it!).
