Wireless in the park

As I write this, I’m sitting in Cathedral Square Park (near downtown Milwaukee) making use of The Milwaukee Free Wi-Fi Network. The city has graciously put free wireless internet access in two parks. Alas, it seems I’m the only one taking advantage of this service right now, but I’m sure there are others like me, just dying to go outside and still have the web at their fingertips.

Now normally, I wouldn’t have made the trek out from Waukesha just for this, but I’ve been without ‘net access for about three days now, and I’m not the only one! Seems that Time Warner is having a hell of a time with their connections throughout southeastern Wisconsin, and a lot of people are without their lifelines. How long will this last? Who knows; hopefully not too long. Andy’s been suffering tremors from withdrawl
