Antonio!

Sara and John took Andy and I to IKEA this weekend; that was a bad idea. Right off the bat, I picked up a new computer desk (which I didn’t need, but just had to get — it literally had my name on it!) and a few knickknacks for the apartment. I’ve spent the last few days pouring over their catalog online and in print, and it’s gotten so bad that I’m seriously considering selling/donating all my old furniture and replacing it with IKEA stuff!

Erica and Devon come up in less than two days (45 hours if you’re keeping track, like some people are) for Thanksgiving. I’m still weary of the whole idea of four people that have absolutely no idea what they’re doing trying to cook at 10-pound turkey, but we’ll see how it goes. Should be pretty interesting!

The new job is going very well. My initial training is just about over, and today was the first day we all got to sit on the phones and take calls from real customers. It wasn’t so bad! It’s my first call-center job, but it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting a large amount of obscenely rude callers to deal with on a regular basis.

Right now I’m watching The Emperor’s New Groove, remembering what things used to be like with a certain someone… Funny how things can change in the blink of an eye. Like the weather here! It was nice yesterday, sweater weather and all, and today it’s snowing!!! Sure it’s only like an inch, but it’s still the symbolic start of winter (a.k.a. Goodbye-Sunlight-’til-April). Well that seems like enough of an update for my limited audience, I’m off to eat some Oreos and watch TV!!
