Lessons Learned
This weekend is supposed to make up for last weekend (my birthday, when I got sick and didn’t go out at all), and it started with the Free Beer Party I won at Have A Nice Day Cafe. Between going there and running around Water Street, I learned a few things:
- Women from Venezuela are incredibly, amazingly beautiful
- “The Ocala Effect” happens everywhere, even in a metropolitan area with 2 million people. (For those not familiar with this, it’s my way of referring to what happens when you’ve lived someplace for a while and all of a sudden it seems like you can’t even go out and buy a gallon of milk without running into at least seven people you know).
- I speak more fluent Spanish when I’m drunk, though I’m not sure that applies to my French
- Now that I’m 22, this list is almost entirely true, especially numbers 6, 18 and 22.
- I really need to get laid
Tonight a bunch of us are supposed to go out again, this time to Brady Street, so if anyone is interested please give me a call. Hope to see you there!
