The iTunes Music Store
Everyone that knows me knows that I’m an avid devout Apple user, and I’ve got my reasons. But it wasn’t obvious to me until today why those of us that use non-Windows software/hardware try so hard to push our way of life onto others. The iTunes Music Store is one of the greatest innovations in the area of online music/media distribution. I downloaded iTunes for Windows onto my PC at work, and it’s just like the Mac version! It’s got all the bells and whistles, albeit just a few minor cosmetic blemishes caused by running on Windows instead of Mac OS X. If you don’t already have it on your computer, download it now! I command you! It’s certainly worth taking a look at. Personally, I wouldn’t mind paying 99 cents a song, or less than $10 for a full album that I can download to my computer immediately instead of having to not only leave my home and go to the store, but have to suffer through long lines and outrageous price gouging on CDs at retail stores like FYE. The best part? You can even listen to samples of every single song, instead of guessing whether or not you’ll like the whole album before you buy it. It’s awesome!
