Unemployment, Day 17
I’m updating this at the behest of a certain someone, mostly because she redesigned her site last night and it looks damned sexy :)
Well it’s been a little over two weeks since I got laid off. My life is slowing mirroring that of Odd Todd; maybe I should start drawing cartoons too! Actually, I’ve had one interview this week, with another one possibly lined up within the next few days. Hopefully it won’t turn out like Andy thinks it will:
Interviewer: (looks at resume) It says here you were a drug dealer… I’m gonna take it you meant “pharmacist?” (pauses) Ah, I see your English is not so good…
I’d be working right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, adjacent to the US Bank tower. The only downside is that parking isn’t provided :(
Aside from that, I haven’t really been doing much aside from cleaning the apartment every single day and going to parties at Kristen’s house every few nights. Tonight I’m supposed to go to a college party near Carroll, so here’s hoping that’s as much fun as it’s being billed to be.
