“Looks like someone’s got a case of the Mun-days…”
The most obvious reason I haven’t updated this site as much as I used to is because of the nature of my new job. As John once said, “I stare at a monitor for 9 hours a day; the last thing I wanna do is stare at one when I get home.” Then again, I don’t have a Net connection while I’m at work, so I’m fiending pretty bad when 7pm rolls around O_o
This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday night was spent as usual at the old watering hole; Saturday was spent as usual recovering from Friday. Stacy and I went down to Racine to enjoy Chick-fil-A, and I ended up buying Undergrads on DVD. Man, it’s such an awesome show! Gimpy kicks ass, and reminds me a little of what I might have turned into had I not had a social life in high school. Though hearing him quote Star Wars every few moments has rekindled my passion for the genre. Only 435 days until Star Wars Episode III comes out!
Aside from that, everything is just fine. I’m still adjusting to work (being forced to use Lotus Notes all day long is pure hell, not to mention that the system is set up is a little crazy), but I’m enjoying being downtown all the time. Which reminds me! I won a VIP party at Have A Nice Day Cafe on April 2nd, for anyone that’s interested. Just drop my name at the door and enjoy discounting drinking the whole night.
