Spontaneous Road Trips
So I got a call today shortly after waking up… Boy Wonder needed to stop by and use my computer, so he did along with the girlie. Turns out they were going to Chicago to shop for roller-blades. I’m still not used to having days off during the week, so I was more than happy to go with them. It was quite an adventure, taking 41 down instead of suffering through the nightmare of the Edens Expressway… or so we thought. Poor John, I hope your bladder is ok!!!
We eventually made our way to IKEA, where I picked up some much needed furniture. A quick stop for dinner at Red Lobster, and then we headed home. All in all, quite a productive day! To top it all off, it was made even better by reconciling with an old friend. Ah, life is good.
