I feel like Scott talking about a political issue here, but since deep down I’m a big eco-friendly nut (hey, I went to the High School for Environmental Studies, what you do expect?) I thought I’d point it out. This administration has had little regard for global issues that won’t manifest themselves for decades, but are still of paramount importance. It’s just another example of how the President continues to alienate this country from our allies throughout the world. A rise in sea levels would affect the entire planet, not just the United States — somehow this feels like a footnote to the opening scene of the movie Waterworld… At least with the Artic temperatures rising, a move to Vancouver doesn’t sound so bad anymore!
