Snow is a four-letter word

Like Craig says, snow is fun when you’re a kid but not when your boss says that 10+ inches of the white stuff is no reason to call in to work. I don’t own a shovel, so I had to use a saucer sled to dig my car out. I almost didn’t make it out of the parking lot, as the drifts out there are as high as the hoods of some peoples cars. At least the roads are somewhat driveable, though it seems like as soon as they plow one street the wind/snow comes in and covers it up again in no time. Even driving on the interstate was a chore: there’s only one driveable lane of traffic, with snow from the plows piled up several inches where the slow/fast lanes would be. If you’re forced to go out in that mess, please drive carefully!

Apparently 9 staffed/ 117 in queue is no reason to route and shut down. Stats are no big deal right? (still thinks their heads are up their a**).

It is a bitter 42 degrees outside. Brrrr…. :P I am sitting in the library at school right now and I figured I would check out your blog and see if you were missing Florida considering the weather on the news :). For moral support I will turn my AC down a few degrees tonight for ya :P. Patrick wonders if the fugee is missing the bliss of the Sunny State. Enjoy. Hope you come to your senses eventually and head back.

PS. If you want to feel a little more depressed you could always go and view your picture from Busch Gardens in your picture section :P Nice and sunny baby :)

The picture in question was actually taken in St. Augustine, but who cares? It’s still Florida, and it’s still warmer there than it is here. Yeah, I miss the Sunshine State’s weather, but I like the wide variety of micro-brewed beer Milwaukee has to offer O_o

Should have known you turned Lush on me….Although I don’t much room to talk…. :) Football and beer has become a great past time these days.
