We’re drinkin drinkin drinkin drinkin coca coca cola

Rachel and I went and checked out the Degas exhibition at the Milwaukee Art Museum the other day; personally I wasn’t as impressed as I was hoping. Don’t get me wrong — they guy was an incredible artist — but the sculptures on display aren’t technically his original work. In any case, if you’re a Degas fan I’d recommend it, but it’s rough reading about what the original wax works looked like and trying to visualize that while staring at a bronze cast…

I also introduced Rachel to The Saint. Somehow she’d managed never to see it before! Such a good movie…

Tomorrow is Modest Mouse at The Rave. Admittedly, I don’t really want to go because 1) it’s at The Rave and 2) 90% of the crowd is going to be made up of little kids that haven’t ever heard of songs like Tiny Cities Made of Ashes or Heart Cooks Brain. Oh well. It’s something to do, and it’s a free ticket courtesy of Stacy, so I guess I can’t complain.

No offense but the Rave? That place has the worst sound, worst atmosphere for ventilation, and the worst staffing I’ve ever been involved with from prev. experiences with band meetings etc. I only go for one or two bands now, I actually don’t even go if it’s a band I truely love. BLEH.

Thus arguement #1 — I don’t think the Rave actually has a ventilation system! But hey, it’s a free ticket.

Awwww Yeaahhh, gotta love the saint.
Any movie with cold fusion, Mother Russia, and the mafia is always good.
