The California Road Trip, Day 2
What a long 48 hours it’s been! We’re currently in Silverthorne, Colorado for the night after having driven for 9 hours straight. Along the way we’ve seen the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, the Oscar Meyer Weiner-mobile, a wind farm and a truck carrying gigantic tires (forget 20′s, these were 200′s!!!). We’ve also had a good laugh every time we drove past a Kum and Go.
Tomorrow brings the longest day of our trip: almost a 12 hour drive to Las Vegas. We’re taking lots of pictures as we go, and they’ll make their way online in a few days.
