A hobo no more
I know I’ve been whinny for the last week or so due to the whole job hunting thing, but that’s all over now. I started working on Monday at… well, for the sake of not putting my entire life online I won’t say the name of the company. I will say that if I’m hired on full-time in a few months (right now I’m just a temp/contractor), I’ll be enjoying the bliss of High Definition cable and an uncapped cable modem at a heavy discount :-D
I’ve decided to take John’s advice and take a shot at banking through a credit union. I’m really big into online banking, but I’m more into getting free transactions at just about any ATM. It sucks to be poor and have to pay $4 just to take money out of your account at an ATM in a 7-11 because your bank doesn’t have any cash machines nearby.
