Does this mean I used to have talent?
In the quest for “the perfect job” here in San Diego, I’ve gone ahead and started work on a portfolio of my previous work as a web designer. While the site itself is still under construction, I hope to eventually turn it into a pretty snazzy grouping of all the sites I’m proud to have created.
There’s a few open positions for website designers in the city, but it’s been a long time since I actually got paid to build websites — over 5 years. I’ve kept up with my blog on-and-off during that time but with the exception of CSS, HTML and PHP, I haven’t really honed or developed my skills. If I did try to pursue a career in website design again, I’d probably have to go back to school to focus on a degree in graphic design. And at this point in my life, I really have no idea what I want to do…
