The iPod Clicking Sound of Doom!
Today while trying to listen to my iPod, I turned it on and about 10 seconds into listening to the Foo Fighter’s Everlong the little white brick clicks, whines, powers down and shows me this icon on the screen:
After trying to reboot it a few times, I searched the web and found a few articles that said I was basically S.O.L. Lucky me. Good thing I’ve got everything backed up on Rachel’s laptop.
Not wanting to have to make a trip to the Apple Store just to be laughed at and turned away, and short of cracking that sucker open to figure out what was wrong, I did one last web search and came up with this: An entirely unlikely fix for the iPod Clicking Sound of Doom. Despite all conventional wisdom, I can assure you that his method works. Taking out your frustrations on your iPod can indeed fix the sad iPod problem!
