Time to move on?

I miss Maru. After he died it really helped to have Brady and Murray around to comfort us. But now that we don’t live with them anymore, it’s weird coming home to an empty apartment.

While moving between offices yesterday, I drove past the UC Davis Veterinary Specialty Hospital here in San Diego. It made me remember the awesome care Maru got at the 24-hour vet clinic in Milwaukee, and made me remember how much it hurt to lose him. I really want to have a cat again, and Rachel brings it up all the time but I’m still hurt and scared of something happening if we got another cat. Maybe I just need to spend some time at the Humane Society…

    only 36 more days and you get to have brady and murray for 11 days……..if that helps

    Dammit, now I had to look at the San Diego Humane Society’s website. They have this adorable male cat, Tommy, and actually have a video of him on the website, he’s so cute! Hmm….three cats wouldn’t be a bad idea, right?
