“I’m sensing a lot of boners, Commander.”
You all remember Wil Wheaton don’t you? He was that one kid from Stand by Me, the one that grew up to be the often-annoying Wesley Crusher for 68 episodes on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Yeah, that’s the guy.
Wil’s stint on TNG made him into something of a celebrity amongst Trekkies, mostly since everyone who watched the show wanted to see him dead. But long after the voyages of the Enterprise came to an end, Wil became more of a celebrity thanks to the Internets and his blog, Wil Wheaton dot Net.
Lately he’s been writing reviews of old ST:TNG episodes and this week’s review is a good laugh for anyone who remembers how corny the writers made the show during the first season.
